Unicorn Solutions Launches Professional Services Capability

Unicorn Solutions, Inc., leader in developing the next generation of data infrastructure technology, continues to expand its team. The company announced today the appointment of Victor Ofstein as VP Solutions. Ofstein will create a professional services organization to support the deployment of Unicorn™’s revolutionary data infrastructure solution for the enterprise.

Ofstein brings to Unicorn many years of experience in leading the deployment of advanced enterprise solutions, including as Senior Director at VerticalNet Solutions and manager at Andersen Consulting (now Accenture). Ofstein will develop and deploy solutions for enterprise data and information management, building on Unicorn's Coherence platform. Unicorn’s comprehensive architecture offers a new flexible approach to managing and integrating enterprise data.

Commenting on his appointment, Ofstein said: “I am thrilled at the prospect of delivering solutions that will leverage Unicorn’s pioneering technology. This will enable us to offer significant efficiency and flexibility to our customers, many of whom are struggling to deliver greater convergence with tightening budgets.”

At Andersen Consulting and later Amdocs, Ofstein designed and implemented large-scale information systems for clients in the telecommunications, energy and financial services sectors, including Vodafone, British Telecom, British Gas and Cedel Bank. Most recently, at VerticalNet Solutions, Ofstein led the deployment of the first generation of business-to-business infrastructure including leading financial and industrial exchanges. Ofstein received his BA (Honors) from University College, London.
