Bank of America Equity Partners' Chief Investment Officer
to Join Unicorn® Board of Directors
McCaffrey to Leverage Relationships and Financial Expertise
Unicorn Solutions, Inc., leading provider of enterprise information
management solutions and developer of the Unicorn System, today
announced that Mr. Edward McCaffrey, Chief Investment Officer for
Bank of America Equity Partners (BAEP), will be joining Unicorn's
Board of Directors.
In addition, Unicorn announced that it has closed a Series B financing
round led by BAEP and Jerusalem Global Ventures.
McCaffrey commented, “BAEP has decided to co-lead this financing
round and substantially increase our holding in Unicorn. I look
forward to being more actively engaged in the company’s long-term
direction and planning as a member of Unicorn’s Board of Directors.”

McCaffrey is the Chief Investment Officer of BAEP, which manages
a $7 billion portfolio of domestic and international direct private
equity buyout, growth and venture investments, as well as investments
in domestic and international private equity funds. Additionally,
he sits on the advisory boards of several international venture
capital funds and is a board member of the Chicago Youth Symphony
Orchestra. A former Marine Corps officer, he holds a BA (Cum Laude)
from Assumption College and an MBA from the Wharton Graduate School
of Business.
